Spangler Casimiroa / White Sapote (Casimiroa edulis)
Spangler variety (golden flesh) is another one of the rarest varieties of white sapote in NZ. The taste of this fruit is amazing. It is sweet, creamy and so satisfying. The best variety we’ve tasted.
Spangler is not available at any commercial nursery store. We are only lucky to be able to grow this ourselves as part of our personal collection.
There’s not much known of Spangler but many plant enthusiasts who have interest in growing Casimiroa will vouch for this variety. A must have in your private garden.
