Ingredients for Waffles:
- 2 large eggs
- 200ml milk
- 200g all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 30g freeze-dried Pisang Mas Banana, powdered
- 1 tsp homemade vanilla extract
- Butter for cooking
Fruit Topping Ingredients:
- 10g freeze-dried MD2 Pineapple, rehydrated
- 10g freeze-dried Susu Mango, rehydrated
- 10g freeze-dried Red Dragon Fruit, rehydrated
- 1 tsp homemade vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp water
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and freeze-dried Pisang Mas Banana powder.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined. Let the batter sit for 5 minutes.
- Preheat your waffle iron and brush with butter.
- Pour enough batter to cover the waffle iron surface, close the lid, and cook according to the manufacturer’s instructions until golden and crisp.
- For the fruit topping, combine the rehydrated fruits, vanilla extract, and water in a small saucepan. Heat gently until warm and slightly syrupy.
